About... Foxes
Fox is the common name for many species of a carnivorous mammal belonging to the Canidae family. Most foxes are slightly smaller than the average domestic dog, with a long narrow snout and a bushy tail. In the wild, foxes can live for up to 10 years, but most foxes only live 2 to 3 years due to hunting, road accidents, and diseases. They usually hunt live prey (particularly rodents), but they can eat a wide variety of foods ranging from grasshoppers, to fruit and berries.
